Flush is a story about two kids named Noah and Abbey Underwood, that have a father who is angered easily and [[#|sinks]] a casino boat called Coral Queen because he believes the ship has been polluting the sea with everybody's dirty business. Of course, Mr. Underwood gets caught and has to go to prison, where he refuses to get bailed out until the Coral Queen gets caught for what they've done. He eventually decides to leave jail and that's when his two children decide to prove that their dad was right by going undercover with a bartender they met who works on the Coral Queen by coming up with a plan where Noah has to sneak on the boat to FLUSH 34 bottles of food coloring down the toilet to prove that the ship is polluting into the sea. In the end, the plan worked, the owner of the ship was fined only 10,000 dollars because his attorneys worked out a deal with the judge, but it didn't matter because the owner's son ended up accidentally blowing the ship up anyways, and the Underwood's ended up getting a happy ending after all! Good book.

Out of my Mind is a book about a girl with [[#|cerebral palsy]] named Melody. All Melody wishes for is to talk and walk, and cerebral palsy stops her from being able to do that. She gets a talking board that her family fills with thousands of words so Melody can communicate with others. She still wishes she could talk, with her OWN voice! Melody is very, very intelligent, but because of her appearance, people underestimate her, a lot! When Melody makes the school's quiz team, that shushes people right away! Once the team leaves without her to Washington D.C for the final competition, they lose, because they didn't have Melody like they did in the first round of the competition. Melody is discouraged at first, but then realizes, I'm me, my family loves who I am, and that's perfect just the way it is! Loved this book!

3. Heaven is for Real

Heaven is for Real first of all is my favorite book of all time! It's about a little boy named Colton Burpo. When the Burpo family go on a family vacation, not everything goes as planned. 4 year old Colton end 's up having a ruptured appendix and has to get operated on. This surgery ends up being a miracle with Colton surviving and being taken up to Heaven. Yes, I said Heaven! Turns out that Colton traveled up to Heaven and back, weird thing, his heart never stopped beating. In the book Colton describes all these things he saw in Heaven and all the events taking place. It was mind-blowing all the stuff he said about Heaven without his dad even telling him about things. Mr. Burpo is a pastor and was just blown away by his son's stories of going to Heaven and coming back! Read this book people! It's amazing! :)

Number the Stars is a book that takes place in Copenhagen. Eleven year old Ellen Rosen is a Jewish person,so when the Natzis take over Copenhegan and try to capture all the Jews, Ellen's life and family falls into her best friends hands. Annemarie ends up taking Ellen where she is safe. There she is reunited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rosen. All turns out well for the two families and they all get to move back to Copenhagen, safely. Great book!

Indigo is a book about these two brothers, Trevor (Trout) and Eli (Eel) McGill and there best friend Martha Glimmer. 12 years earlier a flood washed out the whole town of Oak Grove and now no one, no one likes water! These three friends all wish for the ocean so they one day decide to run away. As a terrible storm hits the kids go back to their hometown where they end up saving the city! Eventually, Trout and Eel got their wish of the ocean, cause when they moved it was in their backyard! Fantastic book! Recommend reading it for all!

Hoot is a book that starts out with Mother Paula's Pancake House have a new opening. Three friends, Beatrice Leep, Roy Eberhardt and "Mullet Fingers" are all against the idea, but not because they don't like pancakes. They know about the burrowing owls that live under the ground, right where they are building the new pancake house. The 3 end up going to the ground breaking ceremony where they protest and the owners have no choice but to stop the project and tear everything down. This book is all about standing up for yourself and believing in what's right! Really, really amazing book!

Aquamarine is a book about these two friends named Hailey and Claire that start off being really bummed about the Capri Beach Club closing down! The day before it is torn to shreds, the girls visit once more to find a mythological creature at the bottom of the pool! Yes, a mermaid! Her name is Aquamarine and she escaped from the sea to find true love. She falls in love with the life guard and the two best friends help her out. It is very hot, and the mermaid has to leave her true love, but is reunited with him when the lifeguard moves houses closer to the ocean. Yes, it's a love story but a fantastic book!

Will they do it before it is too late? Great mystery book!

Stepping on the Cracks is a book about these two best friends named Margaret and Elizabeth who live during World War II. Both of their brothers are fighting for their country, and so is the biggest bully ever, Gordy's, brother, or so they think. Once the girls find the deserter, Gordy's brother Stuart,they try to help him survive in the cold. Throughout the whole story, Gordy's family has a rough time. In the end, the deserter goes to help his family where his father almost kills him! The father gets arrested and all is well in this nice little home town. Amazing book!

Cabin Fever is a book about a boy name Greg Heffley who's life always ends up bad. It starts off with Greg wanting to raise money for this online computer game so he comes up with all these fundraisers that get him into even more trouble! He then gets snowed in his house when a blizzard hits. Worst of all, "Santa" didn't bring any GOOD Christmas gifts! Greg is a very, very unlucky boy! Really easy, but interesting book!

The Acorn People a book about a boy that goes to a summer camp where he soon realizes it is a camp for the disabled and mentally challenged. This boy joins a group where they call themselves "The Acorn People" which makes every one of them fell special. This boy helps others learn a lot, but overall, he is the one that has learned the most. Really easy short book.

This book is about a young girl and her mother that gets put in charge of the annual Christmas pageant. every year the Christmas pageant has the same people play the same roles in the play, until the Herdmans but in. The Herdmans are the worst kids ever. The Herdmans decide to volunteer to be actors in the play. At first everyone thinks this will be the WORST play ever, but in the end, the misfit kids end up proving a lot that people never realized before. Short book.

Mudshark is a book about a guy nicknamed Mudshark because he is super speedy, but that's not why everybody likes him. Mudshark has a special talent that makes him be able to remember anything that he has seen or heard, making everybody like him. Mudshark has to find out who is stealing all the classrooms erasers, which is the janitor. During this mission,the librarian buys a parrot that is stealing Mudsharks job of being the go to guy plus, the parrot could blow the janitors cover. In the end,Mudshark figures out how to make everything back to normal without anything going wrong. Nice, easy book.

This book is about a boy named Greg Heffley. Greg is trying to find a date for the Valentines Day Prom. He gets lucky at last minute when a guy dumps a girl named Abigail, so Greg jumps in. Now that Greg has a date, he has no transportation. Then Rowley goes along and everything gets messed up! In the end, Greg's date to the prom, is now Rowley's girlfriend. Another classic. :)

15. Gulliver's Travels

This book is about a 42 year old man named Lemuel Gulliver that is a doctor that travels on ships. When he aboards the Antelope for traveling the South Sea, a sudden storm hits and totally wrecks the boat. Gulliver is the only man that made it to land. Gulliver falls asleep and wakes up to meet these tiny, tiny people. After a while of being chained up, Gulliver is allowed to be unchained under certain laws and conditions. Once Gulliver breaks one of these, he is pronounce death, but he gets away in time to find himself in a new place, where he is the tiny one! Here he gets taken care of by a good Queen and then they got to the beach. Gulliver gets swept away out to sea and finds a ship, with people his size! Gulliver is bewildered how it all happened but happy to be home, the real home.Great classic, old-time book.

When he is there, something he learned shocked him. It was the lots of kids around the world don't have shoes to wear. So, Blake started a company so that every pair of shoe that gets bought from the company, a second pair goes to a child in need. Blake tellls us how his whole business grew up into being a huge success! He then tells us how we can make changes and we can make a difference in the world. This is one of one of my favorite books of all times! Read it everybody!

Anne Frank is a book translated from Dutch to English and is a real life thing. It starts of with Anne and her family having to move into the " Secret Annexe ", a secret hiding place for the Jews when the Germans are trying to capture and kill all the Jews. The " Secret Annexe " has only eight people in it and they have to be very quiet. Anne talks about what goes on in the " Secret Annexe " for two whole years! She talks about what they eat, how they got along, who she trusted, if she felt safe. Anne wrote about lots of things that went on. In the end, the journal entries just end because Anne dies and so do all the others in the " Secret Annexe ", except for Otto Frank. This book was interesting because the fact that this was a real journal and it wasn't made up astonished me.

Eggs is a book about a young boy named David that had his mother recently pass away so David is forced to live with his grandma because his dad gos on lots of business trips. David finds and meets a very strange girl named Primrose. Primrose lives in a car and is totally opposite of David, she breaks rules and wishes she didn't have the mother she had and David never breaks the rules and wishes he had a mother. These two opposites attract and David and Primrose become great friends hanging out every night. They go on many adventures with Refrigerator John. They catch giant worms, they go trash hunting, they paint windows and many more! In the end, a lonely boy with no friends has a birthday party and invites a lot of people. Not only does David make lots of friends, he learns a very good life lesson, love what you have, because its not there forever. I loved this book so much!

Rules is about a young girl named Catherine that has a little brother with autism. Catherine wishes David could just be normal because he always ruins her chances and messes things up. Catherine's best friend is in California for the summer so Catherine has nothing to do until Krista moves in next to her. Catherine also meets a disabled boy named Jason and they become great friends. Catherine is torn on whether she should stick up for her brother or not get embarrassed. Catherine decides to go to Jason's birthday party instead of the dance because she is embarrassed of what others will think if she goes with Jason. Eventually, Catherine makes a big decision and says she will go to the dance with Jason and won't care what others think! She learned that what others think doesn't matter and that she loves Jason and her brother David for who they are, even if it means embarrassment. Great book! :)

Gifted Hands is about Ben Carson's miraculous life story. It talks about all the trouble Ben goes through as a child with constantly moving place to place, poverty, being " colored ", bullying was a problem because Ben was known as the class " dummy ". Ben has lots of thanks to give to his mother. If it wasn't for her, Ben would not where and what he was today. Sonya Carson made sure Ben kept his grades up so that he could become his future dream: a doctor, and that he did become. Ben attended Yale University where he met the love of his life, his wife and had three children. Ben is very popular with all the global networking he get. Ben cures many, many more patients than a regular doctor does. To be exact, three times as many! Ben was in a total of four Siamese twins that were conjoined separation. He successfully completed two and the other two he could not help because of the heart and lung problems. Ben was diagnosed with cancer and had a very slim chance of living. Ben was traumatized how he could die so young! God made a miracle and it turned out that Ben only had a minor disease from birth that could easily be cured. To this day, Ben Carson is one of the most famous neurosurgeons to live and he gives a lot of credit to God.
This book was amazing! I loved the life lesson it teaches you! <3

Hugo Cabret is a book about a little boy named Hugo that lives all alone in a clock tower because his parents both died and he was undertaken by his uncle who then disappeared. Hugo visits the place his father died and finds this machine that he thinks will help him survive his rough life. To complete this machine he has to steal pieces from a little shop down on the street. The cruel man there hates Hugo until a twisted turn of events. Hugo finally completes the machine with help from his friend Isabelle, the cruel vending man's daughter. This machine unlocks something that the two kids would've never thought of. It turns out that the old man was a movie producer, very famous one, and everyone thought he had died. When the kids reintroduced the old man to this life, he was no longer a grumpy old man. He was nice and caring and took Hugo under his arm and adopted him. Hugo no longer had to worry about being brought to jail or juvenile hall, all thanks to a man that once hated him. AMAZING BOOK! :) :)

Everybody just calls him Zinkoff.It is the first day of second grade and everybody makes fun of him and his teacher is really mean. It talks about all the grades and then in forth grade it is Field Day and Zinkoff totally loses the race for the yellow team so he is now referred to as " loser " Throughout the rest of the story, Donald meets many people including Claudia, an old lady, and an older man who Donald nicknamed " The waiting man." In the end something very dramatic happens and you'll have to read to find out what happens! Love this book.

This book is about a little boy named Billy. Billy really wants two coon hounds that are way to expensive for his parents to buy him. Billy saves money for over two years to get the hounds. Billy goes through a lot with these dogs who he has named Little Ann an Old Dan. He teaches them how to hunt coons and for a little kid and two small pups, they aren't half bad. Billy's dogs are irreseperable. They do everything together. Billy and his dogs get invited to the championship coon hunting contest. Up against all older men, and a huge blizzard, Billy wins two cups from the championship, one for winning an another for Little Ann being the prettiest dog.Once back home and hunting again. Billy and his hounds encounter something much larger- a mountain lion. The pups kill the giant beast, but Old Dan did not survive. Throughout the next days Little Ann will not eat, she won't do anything without Old Dan who is gone. Little Ann passes away when she drags every last strength to Old Dan's grave. They are buried together. Billy's family is moving out of the Ozarks with the money Billy won from the championship. Billy goes to visit his dogs one more time when he finds a miracle. A red fern has grown over and around the grave. With this occurrence, Billy knows his dogs are safe forever. THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK EVER! <3 <3

They take in the cubs as their own until the cubs get to big and they set them free. They keep the runt and name her Elsa. Elsa goes on all the African safaris and trips they go on. Elsa and her owners become really close with everything they do. This is an inseperable love until Elsa dies. How does she die? Not telling. You'll have to read to find out yourself. This book is sooooo sweet.

Orangutans are the ones that look most like humans of the three great apes. They have a really good memory and lots underestimate their intelligence. Orangutans are normally wide spread because of the food they eat. They eat fruit and the fruit trees are all spread out and scattered across the land. One tree is enough food for one animal. Orangutans are very, very unique and human-like animals.
